The Libertarian Party of Michigan’s (LPM) 2021 Bylaws and Platform Committees are reaching out to members who wish to suggest changes to our bylaws and platform. The Libertarian Executive Committee selected the members of the 2021 Bylaws Committee at its recent February 21st meeting. They selected the 2021 Platform Committee’s members in January.
Greg Stempfle of Oakland County will chair the 2021 Bylaws Committee. The other members of the committee are; Adam Childress, Jon Elgas, Connor Nepomuceno, Thomas Scott, Brandon Warzybok, Jeff Wood, and Tim Yow.
James Weeks of Livingston County will chair the 2021 Platform Committee. Weeks, who is currently Webmaster and Chair of the Livingston County affiliate, previously chaired the Platform Committee in 2019. The other members of the committee include; Aaron Miranov, Brandon Warzybok, Jeff Wood, Jessica Sentman, Robert Roddis, Dave Canny, Scotty Boman, and Mike Saliba.
If you are an LPM member and want to propose an amendment to either the platform or the bylaws, please send them to the respective committee chairs. Each committee will present the recommendations to convention delegates for consideration. Members can send suggested changes to the LPM platform to James Weeks at firstname.lastname@example.org, and suggested changes to the LPM bylaws to Chair Greg Stempfle, email@example.com.
The LPM State Convention will be held June 26th and 27th at the Soaring Eagle Casino and Resort in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
