Attorney Nic Curcio, who has assisted members of the party through various legal issues, was awarded the “Spokesperson for Liberty Award.” This is awarded to a member of the community whose patriotism and conviction have inspired contributions to the cause of liberty. Angela Thornton accepted the award on his behalf.

Donna Gundle-Krieg, Secretary and Communications Chair for the Libertarian Party of Michigan, won the “Producer of Liberty Award.” This award is for a dedicated, behind-the-scenes Libertarian whose quiet labors over the years exemplifies the backbone of the Libertarian Party.
