The Libertarian Party of Michigan Executive Committee (LEC) recently voted to put out a call for volunteers to help plan a convention in June or July. The Convention committee will be selected at the March 8th board meeting, which is held on Zoom at 7:00. All members are welcome to join this board meeting.

This spring/summer candidate nominating convention will be the third convention this year for many Michigan Libertarians.

In January, 80 Libertarian delegates from around Michigan met in Midland for a convention to select delegates for the upcoming National Libertarian Convention, which will be held on May 21-25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

The May event will be the first time the Libertarian Party National Convention has ever been held in Michigan. All members as well as the public are welcome to attend the national conference.
