June 28th is the target date for the Libertarian Party of Michigan Candidate Nominating Convention.
The LPM Executive Committee recently voted to select this date, and then appointed a committee to find a location and set up other convention details. These convention details will be approved at the April 11th board meeting, and official notice of the convention will then be sent to affiliate chairs and members.
The Convention Committee consists of Dana Carver, Charles Essner, Angela Thornton, Mike Saliba, and Larry Johnson. Any other members who wish to assist can email [email protected]. 
Members should attend this nominating convention if they want to run or nominate a candidate for state or local office as a Libertarian in Michigan. Please email Political Director Trevor Step at [email protected] if you have questions about the process.

Voting delegates will be selected by local affiliate groups. Please click here to see your affiliate contact information. There will be a special online caucus for those who live in areas that do not have local groups.
This summer candidate nominating convention will be the third convention this year for many Michigan Libertarians.
In January, 80 Libertarian delegates from around Michigan met in Midland for a convention to select delegates for the upcoming National Libertarian Convention.
The national convention will be held on May 21-25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This will be the first time the Libertarian Party National Convention has ever been held in Michigan. All members as well as the public are welcome to attend the national conference.
