District 11 and 12 Libertarians to Choose Representatives at January Convention

Michigan Libertarians from Congressional Districts 11 and 12 will be caucusing at the January 17th convention to select residents of their districts who will represent them on the Executive Board of the Libertarian Party of Michigan (LEC).

Any party member residing in District 11 or 12 who is interested in becoming a District Representative can attend the upcoming convention, or contact leadership@lpmichigan.org. For more details about the convention, click here.

James Harris is currently doing a great job as District Representative for Congressional District 12. His district will caucus to affirm him or replace him since he was not elected at the last convention, but was later appointed by the LEC.

Congressional District 11
contains the following municipalities in Oakland County:  

Auburn Hills, Berklely, Birmingham, Bloomfield Hills, Clawsom, Commerce Township, Novi (part), Farmington, Farmington Hills, Ferndale, Hazel Park, Huntington Woods, Keego Harbor, Lake Angelus, Madison Heights, Oak Park, Orchard Lake Vilage, Pleasant Ridge, Pontiac, Royal Oak, Royal Oak Township, Sylvan Lake, Troy, Walled Lake, Waterford Township, West Bloomfield Township, White Lake Township, Wixom. 

District 12

 

Congressional District 12 contains all or portions of the following counties and municipalities:   
Oakland County: Beverly Hills, Bingham Farms, Franklin, Lathrup Village, Southfield, Southfield Township. Wayne County: Dearborn, part of Dearborn Heights, part of Detroit, Garden City, Inkster, Livonia, Redford Township, and Westland.
