The Libertarian Party of Michigan Candidate Nominating Convention will be held on June 28th this year, at Holiday Inn & Suites Detroit – Troy, 870 Tower Dr, Troy, MI. Business will begin at 9:00 am. 
The majority of this convention will be dedicated to selecting candidates for local, regional and statewide positions. Other agenda items include electing a Vice-Chair/Political Director and a Representative for District 5.
Members should attend this nominating convention if they want to run or nominate a candidate for state or local office as a Libertarian in Michigan. Please email Political Director Trevor Step at [email protected] if you have questions about the process.
All members and others are welcome to attend. However, voting delegates for this state convention will be selected by local affiliate groups. This summer candidate nominating convention will be the third convention this year for many Michigan Libertarians.
In January, 80 Libertarian delegates from around Michigan met in Midland for a convention to select delegates for the upcoming National Libertarian Convention.
The national convention will be held on May 21-25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. This will be the first time the Libertarian Party National Convention has ever been held in Michigan. All members as well as the public are welcome to attend the national conference.
