The Activisim Committee of the Libertarian Party of Michigan has decided that in 2026, they will be working with “The Committee for Marshall not the Megasite.”
The Michigan Supreme Court recently ruled in favor of these local residents in their fight against The Marshall Area Economic Development Alliance. 
Marshall city leaders improperly voted to rezone the land to industrial use, which gave Ford the go-ahead to build a mega-site a $2.5 billion electric vehicle battery park. Ford’s BlueOval Battery Park, which is on track to open in 2026, is set to receive hundreds of millions of dollars in tax incentives.
